Description	The brief from Kaplan 1934 was to design an extendable table with an oval top and a central base. The resulting opulent design of the Tria table is built around a central composition. A massive elliptical tabletop rests on three oval pillars, concentrated beneath its center of gravity. The table offers three size variations. It can be expanded from a compact monolithic solitaire to an almost twice-as-long banquet table. Tria commands attention and enhances the dining experience. Its hedonistic design and meticulous craftsmanship bring a sense of exceptionality to everyday life—and make exceptionality feel effortless.
Awards	Kaplan 1934 introduced the new Tria table at Designblok 2024, where it was immediately nominated for the Designblok Award in the Best New Product by a Manufacturer category. It was subsequently nominated for the EDIDA Awards in the Furniture category and the Czech Grand Design Awards in the Manufacturer of the Year category. The table was also selected by globally renowned design gallerist Rossana Orlandi for her gallery, where it will be showcased during Milan Design Week 2025.
