| Description | We have been working with the Olomouc Museum of Art on a long-term basis since 2020. The visual identity we created for the museum is built on the contrast between history and modernity. The design is dominated by the letter M, which works as the logo, the mark and the icon of the museum. We freed the letter from its original heaviness and simplified its construction to improve legibility. The complex structure of the historical initial was replaced by shading that refers to Gothic textures and preserves the contrast between old and new. The identity is based on a custom typeface, Incunabula. It gives the institution an iconic and timeless tool for communication and helps maintain a consistent visual style in the long term. In 2024, we designed the promotional, exhibition and wayfinding graphics for the renovated exhibition of the Archdiocesan Museum. |
